Kim Wright received her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in 1997. Her career in community pharmacy began at the age of sixteen as a clerk at Powhatan Pharmacy where later she worked for ten years as a staff pharmacist before opening Cumberland Pharmacy with Scott Gregg. Kim is married to Allan Wright and they have two daughters who are very active in sports and music. It has been her greatest joy to serve the wonderful people of Cumberland and surrounding counties and she looks forward to many years serving this community.

Mel is a registered pharmacist and also has his Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology with a special interest in Clinical Pharmacology. He received his BS in Pharmacy in 1967 and his PhD in 1976 from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. He has worked in both community and hospital pharmacy before gaining his PhD, thereafter, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry doing pharmaceutical research and development. After retiring from the pharmaceutical industry in 2004, he returned to community pharmacy and has worked at Cumberland Pharmacy since 2011. Mel enjoys working with and getting to know our wonderful customers, and helping them get the best outcomes from their medication therapies.
